A lot of things may have been on your list all year, or some may have just ended up in your too-hard basket. But here are some quick wins that will move your business needle forward and help you finish 2023 on a highย ๐Ÿ“ˆ.

 

 

๐ŸŽฏย Redefine Your Vision and Goals Ready for 2024
If you’ve had your store for a while, your goals and ‘why’ may have changed as you may have drifted from your initial niche. So spend some time reflecting on where you’re headed and why you want to go there. Simplify it on a single page and put it on the wall, ready for 2024.

 

๐Ÿ”ฅย Put Out Any Little Fires
These are the projects or designs that have accumulated on your drive but don’t actually help you move forward. Therefore, use them or let them go. Write everything on your mental to-do list down and start extinguishing fires that donโ€™t need to be there.

 

๐Ÿ”ย Create a Competitor Watch List
Deep dive into market trends and your customer needs. Look at market leaders in your niche. Create a watch-list of 10 top stores that you see as your competition orย  what you envision your store to become, as this will give you insights on what to work on.

 

๐Ÿ›๏ธย Add Trending Products to Your Store
Use a marketing trend tracking software like Insight Factory to add a low competition, high sales volume product to your store – bonus points for adding color variations.

 

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธย Optimize Your Etsy Store
Your store is your digital shopfront and, just like a physical store, it needs to appeal to the buyer and make their decision to buy from you easier. Make sure your banner is on point and every section is filled out. Use the opportunity to update your FAQs and Privacy Policy as they appear with a last updated date next to them.

Customer happiness is a huge part of your business. Put together a thoughtful and kind follow-up message to save as a pre-written response, and send out to customers to check in after purchase. As customer loyalty is key and easier than getting new customers.
